Nuwefonteinskop Lodge is completely off the grid and lies at the foot of a rocky granite hill. The main building and greenhouse is built on the slope of the hill adjacent to Kotzesrus village.

The lodge offers beautiful rustic rooms in the original part of the old farm house, each with a patio and with views overlooking a nature garden and the peaceful village.

When staying with us, you can leisurely stroll through the village and surrounding fields, have long afternoon naps on your patio and even sleep outside under the stars on hot summer nights.

During your stay, you will be treated to traditional country cuisine and desserts, served in our dining room or any one of three kookskerms outside. Our breakfasts have fruit, porridge and cereals, as well as fresh breads and warm farm style breakfast dishes. We serve sweets and savouries with afternoon tea in the lounge, we make cosy fires in winter and we offer beautiful wooden decks for enjoying the morning sun. And of course we have a pool. The Otto Schwarz Pool which is a pool with a story, a sun deck and a view.

We do gin sundowners and picnic trips to the beach and we do night drives with hot chocolate drinks under the bright stars of the milky way.
